Christmas baking is absolutely the best. The kitchen is filled with a constant aroma of sweet and savory treats which makes the taste buds have a party in the mouth. It’s not called the season of indulgence for nothing.
Sometimes it seems like we are making enough food for the whole year, and expect to eat it in just a few short days. But there is a reason behind this madness.
There are the treats that mom and dad like. But then there is Gran and Grandad, Uncle Bob and Aunt Sally. Everyone likes something different.
Just when you think you have the recipe list down to a reasonable size the kids pitch in with their two cents.
“I won’t eat that because it contains sultana’s” or “I don’t like jam”, or…well you get the drift. There is always something that the kids don’t like.
It’s enough to send you into a head spin.
So you make melted snowman cookies for the kids that love snowmen. You make the reindeer cookies to give to Santa on Christmas eve, and then there are these Santa brownie hats.
Seriously though. It doesn’t matter which of these treats you make, the entire family will love them. That’s what so awesome about these kind of treats. Kids and adults will both tuck into them quite happily.

Seriously. This is one of those recipes where the plate will be wiped clean before you have even had a chance to put it down.
Hmmm, ok maybe there is the catch. You might need to make two batches.
There is no need to beat around the bush here. These strawberry Santa hats are incredibly delicious, super cute and 100% festive.
They tick every single box. So let’s get baking.
Ingredients You Will Need To Make The Brownie Bites
- Brownie Packet Mix
- Tub of strawberries
- Double cream for whipping
How To Make Santa Hat Brownies In 6 Easy Steps
Step 1: If you really have the time, you could make your brownies from scratch. But, if finding extra time between dealing with the kids is not something that really takes your fancy then go and grab that brownie mix packet.
Yes, you have my complete permission, go and grab it now.
Follow the directions on your packet mix and once cooked, grab a round cupcake decorating cutter to use to cut your brownie circles.
Remember that these are meant to be bite sized, so use a small ring.
Once your brownie’s have been cut out, the fun decorating begins.
Step 2: Wash and cut the ends off some strawberries. These strawberries will be making the little Santa hats.
Step 3: If using double cream, you will need to whip up the cream and place in a piping bag. Otherwise you might like to make the brownies with a cream cheese frosting. Either way, they will still taste delicious.
Step 4: Once you have decided which cream you will be using, it needs to be placed onto the brownie bite.
Santa hat rims are fluffy, so don’t worry about being incredibly neat with this. Simply pipe on some cream around the rim of the brownie.
Step 5: Once the rim of the brownie has been covered, it is time to place the strawberry hat on the top.
Step 6: For the final touch, pipe some more cream onto the top of the strawberry. The Santa hat brownies are now complete.
That’s it, you are done. They are simple to do, look great and taste amazing.

I have right around 50 brownie hats that I will be making, so think I will make my brownies ahead of time and put in freezer till it’s time to cut out and decorate.
Then maybe instead of whipping the cream; wonder if I could just use canned frosting.
With that many to make, was thinking of using something quick and easy for the icing.
Enjoy your day.
