A couple of years ago I designed some Valentines beer printables to use as my husband’s Valentine’s gift. My hubby absolutely loved them and it was such an easy gift to give.

Not only did he have a 6 pack of beer, but he also had something kind of romantic.

Not that I am calling beer romantic, but the decorative labels on the beer bottles, well they certainly do the trick.

This year I have released a new set of beer labels for Valentines day, but this time in the very popular chalk board style.

You may be thinking “I have seen these before on your site Catherine?” Well yes you have (sort of).

The beer labels that I made a couple of years ago were in color and had a grunge vibe about them.

Of course you are observant and have noticed that the new labels are exactly the same design, but just in a trendy chalkboard design.

There is a reason for this.

No, I’m not going crazy (yet!).

Set of 6 color Valentine beer labels

Like all good bloggers, I put hubby’s Valentine’s gift on my site, and then added them to my Etsy store.

I have been absolutely blown away by how popular they have been and it gives me goose bumps to think that my beer labels for Valentines day have been given to so many guys as gifts gifts.

What Readers Have To Say About The Beer Labels For Valentines Day

I absolutely LOVE getting reviews where people have been enjoying my work. When I receive reviews like these, it really does give me the warm fuzzie’s.

Super cute and simple for a Valentine’s Day gift for a guy! What male doesn’t love beer? Added a cute, thoughtful touch to a plain six pack! – Kristen

AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME~ Made for a super cute gift~ Thanks! – Cheryl

So pretty! Was a real success as a Valentines gift! Very simple and awesome to print! – Felicia

Love it. easy to print and made the perfect valentines day gift! – Carla

I also love receiving feedback and requests. One of the requests that I received (on more than one occasion) was “can you please do these in chalk board style?“

Well I have to admit that chalk board doesn’t “look” very much like Valentine’s, but hey, these are gifts for men, and who says it has to be all red and pink.

So, with a little bit of tweaking, we now have the Valentine decorative beer labels available in both color and in chalk board style.

Let’s give out a big YEYE.

I am really pleased with how they came out. I have to admit that I was a little worried that they might be a tad dark for Valentine’s, but I shouldn’t have been. I did still slip one red heart into one of the designs  because I just couldn’t help myself.

As for being too dark? I’ll leave that up to your opinion, but when I printed them and added them to the beer, I thought they looked amazing. I might even prefer them to the original design.

How To Use Beer Labels For Valentines Day

Printable beer labels are incredibly easy to use. You simply download the designs, print them and stick to your chosen beer bottle.

You can either print onto full page stickers or onto matte photo paper and then attach with double sided sticky tape.

Either way works well, so it’s really up to you which you prefer.

My personal preference is to use matte photo paper.

Need some help putting the printable’s onto the bottle’s? Check out this post on exactly how to easily attach a printable label to beer bottles. It’s super easy to do.

So if you have previously been a fan of the original Valentine beer labels, you can now obtain them in two different styles. Pretty cool right?

The chalk board labels are now available in our Etsy shop.

Which of the beer labels for Valentines day gets your vote?  The original color labels or the new chalk board range?

I love these and the idea to put them on soda bottles for kids. Or even on juice or milk bottles for those that don’t do soda.

I am going to get these for my boys. I know they will love them, Thanks 🙂

There are probably a couple of labels that you wouldn’t be able to use Lara (like the Pale Ale), but you could certainly be creative and play around with them. I hope your boys like them 🙂

Thanks Kayla. When I first made them I made them in colour rather than chalkboard and gave them to hubby. He totally loved them. It was the easiest Valentine’s gift ever 🙂 I can’t decide if I love the chalkboard or the colour version the best!
