The Fall happens to be the perfect weather with cooler temperatures and crisp air. It will do wonders for teens.

The activities below have been split up between indoor and outdoor Fall activities for easier reference.

So let’s get started, create the ultimate Fall bucket list and find something to keep those teens and the whole family busy!

Fun Outdoor Fall Activities Teens Will Love

Autumn is the perfect time to get outdoors. It’s not too hot and it’s not too cold. As Goldilocks would say “it’s just right”.

There are so many outdoor activities that are perfect to be undertaken in the fall. In fact, some of them can only be undertaken in the fall, so you don’t want to miss them!

1. Corn maze: If there is one thing that teens love, it’s a challenge. So finding a way through the corn maze is something that can’t be ignored.

Head to your local farm or town festival to find a corn maze to start exploring. This is such a fun Fall activity.

2. Apple Picking: Find an apple orchard that is open to the public for apple picking.

Different orchards will operate in different ways. Some will charge an entry free but allow you to eat apples whilst inside. Others will be free to enter, but don’t allow eating before purchase. Wear some comfy shoes and enjoy the freedom of picking your own fruit.

The great thing is that after the adventure, the teens can enjoy creating lots of apple treats, such as a delicious apple crumble or apple pie to eat with hot custard.

3. Visit A Sunflower Field: If your teen has never visited a sunflower field, then now is the time!

Not only can you pick your own beautiful sunflowers to take home, but it is an incredibly opportunity to obtain some stunning photos.

12. Backyard Bonfire: The fall is a great time to have a backyard bonfire. The weather is cold enough to snuggle up in blankets around a fire, but not so cold that it becomes unpleasant.

Teens can have a great time around a bonfire, chatting and sharing stories, eating and generally hanging out in their own backyard.

Don’t forget to enjoy some hot chocolate and roast marshmallows for s’mores around the campfire too.

It’s the perfect opportunity to spend some quality time with friends.

15. Leaf Jumping: This might sound like quite an odd thing to do, but don’t knock it until you have tried it. Rake the leaves together into a huge leaf pile and get ready to jump right into the middle of the pile.

It keeps things fresh and avoids you holding onto things that arnt necessary. Gather items together and sell them in a yard sale. The harder the teen works to coordinate this, the more money they will make.

17. Have A Star Gazing Evening: If the sky is clear and it’s a crisp Fall night, rug up and pack some treats for heading out to watch the stars. You can even learn a bit about the constellations using the free skyview app.
