Summer has well and truly hit and whilst you want to be enjoying lazy days in the sun, and refreshing summer walks, the kids would still like a birthday party.
I’m sure that the obvious summer party ideas have come to your mind such as the pool party and ice cream party ideas, but this year I know you are looking for something different without loosing the wow factor.
Your in luck, because Alex from Saffy & May has submitted this delightful watermelon birthday party and it’s hard not to fall in love with it.
- An ice cream party may be a common summer party, but have you ever thought about holding an art and ice cream party? This takes a whole new spin on the theme.
- Looking for more summer time fun? Check out this easy summer time kids fun playdate.
You may be wondering how on earth this theme could possibly work, but trust me, it does!
If you are unsure how to go about putting all your watermelon party ideas together, just think pretty pinks, a striking bold black and of course a pop of green.
These colors are exciting, and the kids WILL love it.
Alex said about the party planning “The theme was chosen after Miss S fell in love with the watermelon garland, so a bright and modern birthday party was created for her”.
Kids love watermelon….kids will love this watermelon birthday party!
If you’re really not convinced, think about this. How many times have you seen the kids enjoying their huge chunk of watermelon with the juice running down their chins and between their finger’s?
There is a certain satisfaction about eating watermelon that is totally child like.
Take that enjoyment, but instead of having dripping sticky fingers, you are thinking cupcakes, cookies, chocolate treats and of course….birthday cake!
I don’t know about you, but my mouth is watering.
Of course you can’t forget the watermelon party favors, but it can sometimes be tricky finding favors that fit into a party theme.
The easiest way, is to simply provide themed favor bags and these are a great example of how to do just that.
Are you the kind of person that normally hates favor bags because they can look a bit tacky?
Your not alone here, but it really doesn’t have to be this way and you don’t have to spend a fortune on making them look good either.
This is a great example of how simple favor bags can look OH SO effective. You will be kicking yourself when you realize just how amazing you can make them look, and the kids will be flocking to them.
Now you can go back to relaxing and enjoying the lazy sunny days knowing that the birthday party is in hand and being incredibly confident that this is the theme that is going to wow all of the kids.
