Inside: Super cute religious candy bar wrappers that the kids will love for Easter. They are the perfect easy gift idea but also wonderful to use as favors if having an Easter party. These Easter candy bar wrappers are a great way to remember the real reason for the season at the same time as still enjoying the chocolate.
Have you been able to find any kind of religious Easter gift whilst shopping this year? No, I havn’t either. I have seen plenty of chickens and bunny’s but nothing that represents the real meaning of the season we are in.
I am the first to admit that I LOVE my chocolate. I definitely love receiving a gift of chocolate over Easter and I will more than happily consume it. But other than going to church over Easter, where is the representation of what Easter really means?
Sure, we have Easter eggs that symbolize new life, the stone rolled away from the tomb. But we are really stretching the imagination when it comes to the Easter bunny and Easter chicks!
Whilst it’s all a lot of fun, sometimes it is nice to simply get back to basics and remind others (and ourselves) what the real reason of the season is.
A couple of years ago I created some religious candy bar wrappers that have been really popular in the Etsy store. There arn’t really many religious candy wrapper labels available which really surprised me. We all love our printable’s, but this seemed to be an area that was really lacking.
I am the first to admit that whilst I love those candy wrapper labels, they are not really super kid friendly. I mean, there is nothing cute about them at all. They are gorgeous wrappers, but far more suited to giving to adult friends, family members or teachers.
Which got me to thinking. We are still not reinforcing the real meaning of Easter to the kids.
I have these religious candy bar wrappers just sitting there, but the kids wouldn’t be overly excited to receive one. The older kids for sure, but not the primary aged children. They don’t really look child friendly enough.
So, now I have a new set of custom candy bar wrappers all ready and waiting especially for the kids. Yippee.
These religious candy bar wrappers have an adorable graphic with some simple but meaningful text. This is the kind of religious chocolate gift that you know the kids are still going to be excited about receiving.
Plus, if you are having an Easter gathering, they would be perfect to give as an Easter favor. Something a little different to the normal hunting eggs that we hand out all the time.
Easy Download Religious Candy Bar Wrappers
These religious candy bar wrappers are an instant download which means you can access them right now from your couch. Sounds pretty good right?
Simply follow these steps to get these bars set up.
Step 1: Head to the Etsy store to grab your copy of the candy bar wrappers. There are four designs to choose from all for just $4. Total bargain!
Step 2: Print onto matte photo paper. There are two designs per page, so you will need to pages to print all of the designs. You don’t “have” to use matte photo paper but I like the finished look that it gives and believe it or not, paper makes a HUGE difference to the quality of print you receive. I never print my party ware on anything else!
Step 3: These wrappers have been designed to fit regular size Hershey bars (1.55oz / 43g bars). That doesn’t mean you cant use them on other candy bars, but they will look optimum on these ones. Grab your candy bars and then simple place this wrapper around them. Fix in place with a strip of double sided tape.
Step 4: Hand out as gifts or as Easter party favors.
Step 5: Watch the kids faces light up as they receive this awesome and unique Easter gift.
I couldn’t decide whether to have Jesus with a beard or without a beard. So I decided to create the wrappers with both and let you decide on your favorite.
What do you think? Is your vote for with or without the beard?
Now, not only do you have the perfect religious gift to give to the kids, but you are also still delighting them with some chocolate AND you have not had to trail around the shops trying to find something that isn’t related to the Easter bunny.
No offence Easter bunny, but sometimes we do just want to focus on what Easter is really all about.
