Creating printable coloring in pages was something I started doing last year and I don’t know why I left it so long!
Kids love coloring so it is no surprise that the pages have been popular.
I also love creating them, and seeing these cute little pages come together. What’s even better is the shriek of excitement from my kids when they see them come off the printer.
It totally makes it all worth while and I know I am on the right track.
Their excitement is also a good way to get a sign of approval that the coloring pages are good enough to share with you. The moment that the noses get turned up, I know I have to go back to square one!
Alas, these rainbow coloring pages were met with the seal of approval and I am therefore allowed to share them with you.
Although it was hard for the kids not to like them. I mean who doesn’t love creating a beautiful rainbow!
Bring The Joy With Rainbow Coloring Pages
You know the song
Red and yellow and pink and green, purple and orange and blue.
I can sing a rainbow,
Sing a rainbow,
Sing a rainbow too.
I bet you are singing it now arn’t you!
Rainbows are just one of those things that ALL kids love to draw.
For the younger kids, their drawing is recognizable to other’s which gives them joy.
To older kids the rainbows become more complex, with colors in particular orders and other features attached.
But one thing is certain. Rainbow’s give joy.
I don’t think I know of anyone that could look at a rainbow and frown.
So our new set of coloring pages is just that. It’s to bring joy and it’s full of beautiful rainbow color.
I’ve made these rainbow coloring pages available to you just in time for St Patrick’s day too.
Whilst they are not filled with St Patrick’s day charm, like the Leprechaun coloring pages, rainbows do appear a lot over St Patrick’s so you could easily use them together.
They would also be perfect to use at a rainbow birthday party as an activity for the kids.
I often like to have a drawing table set up for preschoolers at parties. It’s great for them to have an activity on hand when they do not want to play, be involved in games, or just want a few minutes of quiet time.
It allows a bit of creative outlet and then they are ready to continue with the rest of the party.
But you really don’t need to be celebrating St Patrick’s day or having a birthday party to enjoy these rainbow coloring pages.
Simply print them for use at a mother’s group or just for your own child. How about even coloring one in with your child. It can be very therapeutic and the kids would love mommy to join in with them.
There are four designs to choose from, so you can share lots of happy rainbow cheer.
