4 Fall Pictures To Color
Finding activities for preschoolers to do on an ongoing basis, can be challenging. Whilst there are so many ideas circulating on Pinterest for amazing craft ideas, sometimes all we need is something simple.
Something that will keep our preschooler occupied long enough so that we can sit down and have a hot cup of tea. Hot being the word here, not luke warm and not microwaved for the 10th time!
Yes crafting is fun, but it requires our attention. A lot of it!
There are times when all you want is something that you don’t have to think about, and that you don’t have to spend longer clearing up than it did actually doing the activity.
I get it. I am a mom of a 2 and 6 year old and sometimes taking the easy route is all that you have the energy for.
That’s where these free Fall coloring sheets are perfect. They are not part of a coloring book (which is sometimes perceived as boring), and the fact that they are in individual sheets makes them exciting.
There are four Fall coloring sheets to choose from, so your preschooler still has a choice of which one they want to do.
Set them up a nice coloring station and hey presto, you can sit down with that cuppa for a while.
It’s simple, it’s effective and everyone has some quiet time. Isn’t that what we are all looking for?
So Many Things To Do With The Fall Coloring Sheets
Use as a mom’s group activity:
If you regularly get together with a mom’s group, why not print off several of them and take them along with you. The kids would have a great time completing them together and comparing pictures.
You could easily set up a little coloring station, with some snacks, coloring pencils and several print outs of the coloring sheets.
Then sit back and enjoy the company of the mom’s for half an hour or so.
Take out for lunch:
Anyone that has been out for lunch with preschooler’s knows how tricky this event can be. Kids are anything from patient. Whilst some coffee shops are great with providing table activities for kids, there are a lot that are still lacking.
Problem solved. Print off these Fall coloring sheets and take them with you in your hand bag with a packet of crayons.
You don’t need to cart around a whole coloring book, these will simply slip in the side pocket. If you keep them as a surprise, they will be even more welcomed by the kids!
Have a coloring competition:
Have some older kids that you want to keep occupied for a while?
Why not hold a coloring competition?
The competition will ensure that they take their time to carefully complete their sheet leaving you with time to do, whatever it is you need to!
The prize can be as simple as choosing what treat they all have, or what movie they watch next.
Set up a coloring table at a Fall party:
If you are having any social gatherings over the Fall season, these would be perfect to get out for the kids. Set up a coloring station with several printable’s available and the kids will keep coming back to it to complete a sheet
Who would have thought that some simple Fall coloring sheets could provide so much fun!
