Hello everyone. Today I am sharing an easy step by step set up for a ladies lunch tablescape. During the Summer vacation you can get consumed with doing things to keep the kids from getting bored during their school vacation, so it is nice to reward yourself with a little me time with some of your friends.
The first thing to do is choose a fabric or table cover to set the whole table. From there you can then draw inspiration for the rest of your table top items.
Next I added a sweet centerpiece, I simply used a cake plate and added some cupcakes that my friends could enjoy after lunch. I used ribbon scraps tied to a food pick to dress up the store bought cupcakes.
I really like how the ribbon scraps added that little extra touch to the yummy cupcakes.
Next I added the plates, I used paper plates they had a cute, fun design, and were rectangular shaped. I liked that they were different from the regular square or circle plates you always see.
I also included a small gable box with a nail polish and a nail filer inside as a little party favor.
Next, I added the cutlery. I bundled a wooden fork, wooden spoon, and a yellow striped paper straw together and tied it off with some yellow bakers twine.
The final touch was a wine glass, a ladies lunch with no kids requires some wine. It is a perfect way to relax and unwind.
Your lunch menu can include a delicious chicken salad croissant sandwich paired with some fresh fruit. It is an easy yet satisfying menu that I am sure your friends will enjoy!
I hope my ladies lunch tablescape has inspired you to take some time for yourself and enjoy a lovely afternoon with your friends.
Love the ladies lunch? You will also love my recent spring party and kids summer playdate.
