Kids Summer Time Fun Playdate

It is Summer time which means pool parties, backyard movie nights, and many many playdates.

Playdates are a great way to keep the kids entertained on those long Summer days plus it can be done without spending a whole lot of money.

Today I will be sharing a table that includes food and a bucket of fun perfect for a Summer time fun playdate.

You don’t need to have fancy food after all kids will enjoy a sandwich and chips. At our playdate I made turkey meat sandwiches on wheat bread and they were a huge hit.

For drinks I served apple juice boxes but to make them look a little more cute I took off the straw that it came with and replaced it with a yellow striped paper straw.

I taped it to the side with some decorative washi tape and just like that we had cuter juice boxes at our Summer fun time playdate.

Something that I think every party table should have is healthy options, if you place it out on the table the kids are sure to come and pick up a cup of healthy fruit in between the running around and playing.

At our Summer playdate we served my sons favorite fruit strawberries and blueberries.

Now to the fun part of the table the bucket of Summer time fun, the bucket included silly string, bubbles, a disk flying toy, and a box of crayons so the kids could draw a picture or do some coloring while they sat down and rested for a little while before getting back up and running again.
