What a wonderful dish our contributor Ilona from Ilona’s Passion has shared with us today. After you have tried these maple glazed carrots you will never eat carrots the same again!
Hi! This is Ilona and today I have a vegetarian maple glazed carrots recipe.
Recently, I was thinking what else I can do with carrots beside carrots + peas that I really like. At first when I was thinking about maple glazed carrots I thought that no way this recipe will turn out good.
I am not a huge fan of sweet dinners or lunches. But I was wrong maple and carrots are perfect combination. And healthy addition to any dinner.
This recipe is so delicious. You have to try it to believe it.
Maple gives so much flavour to these carrots. Also, the garlic powder in this recipe was perfect idea too.
I sauteed my carrots in butter for couple minutes and then I seasoned with garlic powder, salt, pepper and maple in the end. It was so good.
I had it the other day with mashed potatoes and pork chop. These maple glazed carrots will go perfectly with any meat.
The whole recipe is done in less than 30 minutes, it’s very quick and easy to do. If you’ll try these maple glazed carrots don’t forget to tell me what you think. I’m still thinking these carrots are one of the best that I’ve had. They will be often seen during my dinner.
Also, I’m hoping that you are enjoying my previous recipes as well… like Bacon Mini Quiche that are perfect for a party or Basil Roasted Red Potatoes. And right now I’m thinking that Basil Roasted Red Potatoes will be good together with maple glazed carrots. Next time I’ll obviously pair them together with some meat on the side.
