Bake The Banana Muffins With The Kids
This banana muffin recipe is incredibly easy to make and if you enjoy cooking with the kids, this is a great one for them.
They don’t take long to bake and if you think they are mourish when eating cold, you should try eating them straight from the oven.
I can only describe them as absolutely delicious (guilty as charged for doing this maybe once…or twice).
If you are really desperate to get some fruit into the kids, then this is also a sneaky way of doing it.
Kids love cakes, especially ones with chocolate in them. Banana and chocolate is therefore the perfect combination to make into a muffin.
Besides, if you get the kids involved with making the muffins, they are more likely to also eat them afterwards.
These muffins are incredibly moist and sweet (but not too sweet!).
The wholemeal flour and raw sugar takes off that sweet hit, but is brought back beautifully with the addition of the chocolate chips.
This recipe uses 1/2 cup of white chocolate chips, but you could mix it up with milk or dark chocolate to suit your preference.

Super Simple Choc Chip Banana Muffin Recipe
Banana Chocolate Muffins
This quick and easy banana muffin recipe will be loved by the entire family.

Ingredients
- 125g butter
- 3/4 cup raw sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 ripe bananas (mashed)
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 11/2 cups wholemeal self raising flour
- 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Instructions
- 1. Grease a 12 hole muffin tray and preheat the oven to 180C or 355F
- 2. Cream the butter and sugar together
- 3. Add the eggs and mix well
- 4. Stir in the vanilla, bananas and chocolate
- 5. Fold through the flour, bicarbonate of soda and milk.
- 6. Place in the baking tray and bake for 20minutes.
