This quick and easy banana muffin recipe will be loved by the entire family.
Whether you eat them as an afternoon snack or get away with eating them for breakfast, they will be a sure hit.
Everyone knows that banana’s are healthy for you, so a banana muffin has to be healthy right?
Ok, so maybe not completely healthy, but as they are made with wholemeal flour and raw sugar, you are on the right track.
What we do know is that a melt in the mouth muffin is always going to go down well whether it’s a lunch box snack or a morning tea break with the mums group.
Bake The Banana Muffins With The Kids
This banana muffin recipe is incredibly easy to make and if you enjoy cooking with the kids, this is a great one for them.
They don’t take long to bake and if you think they are mourish when eating cold, you should try eating them straight from the oven.
I can only describe them as absolutely delicious (guilty as charged for doing this maybe once…or twice).
If you are really desperate to get some fruit into the kids, then this is also a sneaky way of doing it.
Kids love cakes, especially ones with chocolate in them. Banana and chocolate is therefore the perfect combination to make into a muffin.
Besides, if you get the kids involved with making the muffins, they are more likely to also eat them afterwards.
These muffins are incredibly moist and sweet (but not too sweet!).
The wholemeal flour and raw sugar takes off that sweet hit, but is brought back beautifully with the addition of the chocolate chips.
This recipe uses 1/2 cup of white chocolate chips, but you could mix it up with milk or dark chocolate to suit your preference.
