White Chocolate Peppermint Slice. Bite into a sweet, crunchy chocolate base with peppermint crisp bites and a thin crispy white chocolate top.
Chocolate and peppermint go hand in hand don’t you think? If you love this flavor combination as much as I do then you are going to fall in love with this white chocolate peppermint slice brought to us by our blog contributor Kirsten from Treat Yourself Sweeter.
Kirsten has a way of making those taste buds dance around in delight, and this month is no exception.
This white chocolate peppermint slice is simply irresistible. It is one of those recipes that you are going to keep making again and again because it is so easy and so incredibly delicious. This is a family favorite.
Sometimes I hate the kitchen. Ever feel like that?!
It is not the cooking (clearly) I love that, it is the cleaning.
Dishes seem to magically multiply. Between dinner last night and then getting home from work, apparently the fairies turned up and trashed the kitchen during the day. Eh.
Tonight, I raced the sunset home so I could take these photos, cooked dinner, made lunch for tomorrow, make and eat dinner and then started the nightly clean up.
Half way through, I sliced my finger open, opps.
But you know what?
At least it meant I didn’t have to finish the dishes. (EDIT: actually I did, they weren’t done STILL when I got home from work the next day- sound familiar?)
Okay, whinge over and back to business.
St Patrick’s day. Do you celebrate?
I have to admit that I don’t, the last time I did I was in my early 20’s and I had just moved to the big city. Needless to say, it was a huge event and it wasn’t only the decorations that were a little green!
But, for the first time in a years I am starting to get back in the mood (thanks fellow bloggers).
This is my first sweet dish of celebration- trading the alcohol for the sweets this year and this one is AWESOME.
I took this slice for a morning tea and with no word of a lie, I was asked 5 or 6 times down the corridor ‘what was in that?
It was awesome.
They loved it even more when I told them it was super easy and only 5 ingredients!
Here is a St Patrick’s present from me to you. An easy peppermint slice recipe that is the present that keeps on giving.
It is sweet, easy, quick and a tasty dessert that you can enjoy any day of the year.
An Awesome White Chocolate Peppermint Slice Recipe

- 280 grams melted white chocolate
- Place the crushed biscuits, peppermint crisp, condensed milk and melted butter in a bowl and stir until well combined.
- Place the mixture into a lined standard sized slice tin and push down with the back of a spoon to pack tightly.
- Place in the fridge for 10 minutes.
- Meanwhile melt the chocolate and then evenly pour over the base. Sprinkle with extra Peppermint Crisp bar if wanted.
