I’m delighted to share with you this adorable boys vintage train birthday party by Roni Sugar Creations. Roni designed a train party for her son and held it at the local model railroad museum for added train fun.
Get ready to go all aboard on a vintage train experience!
Roni said about the party planning “The venue was amazing. The kids could enjoy the model trains and watch a Thomas and Friends movie.
All the children enjoyed a train plating table which was full of mini trains and railroads which they could move around. It was the perfect party for my baby boy“.
Train Party Decorations
The entire museum was decked out with train accessories and they worked perfectly together. I love all the finishing touches such as the old suitcases, train driver caps, old pictures and train paraphernalia.
Even the train tracks down the center of the tables looked fantastic and helped set the scene perfectly. All of these teamed together showcased a fabulous vintage train birthday party.
Train Birthday Party Food
This train birthday party displayed a wonderful selection of food. The desserts were definitely a highlight which consisted of cupcakes, push pops, cake and candy apples.
The desserts were displayed beautifully and I love how Roni incorporated the suitcases into the cake display.
The beverage table consisted of starbucks coffee, apple juice box’s and vintage coca cola bottles and again were displayed perfectly in tin bowls and wooden crates.
Train Birthday Party Favors
Favors are one of my favorite party elements and I adore these mini red lantern pencil sharpeners. I can just imagine all the kids walking away with one of these.
They are a wonderful gift that not only looks amazing, but is useful too. Plus it’s nice not to always have lollies as favors!
This theme is certainly ideal for anyone who loves trains or travel. It is a theme you can have a lot of fun with, and adding the vintage theme allows for a lot of creativity. Roni did a wonderful job with this party.

Ah what a great idea a train theme…the room with the food tables even looks like it could be the dining car on a train 🙂
