If there is one thing that we love in Australia, it’s our desserts.  It therefore seemed only appropriate that today’s round up be dedicated to Australia day desserts, given there are only a few days left to prepare!

When you think of desserts for Australia Day your mind generally wanders to Lamingtons and Anzac biscuits ….or is it just me?  Well, this selection includes those, but also with a difference.  These recipes will absolutely knock your socks off!

With that said, let’s take a look…..I hope your not hungry right now….be warned!

Australia Day Desserts

To start the week off I couldn’t go past these amazing Lamington biscuits by Raspberri Cupcakes. They seriously look like they would melt in your mouth which is just an excuse to eat more really isn’t it!.  They are also bite sized, which really is just that extra invitation!

Lamington Biscuits

Would you like to do something else with those awesome Lamingtons?  How about trying this Lamington Tiramisu by A Table For Two.  The combination together is just a recipe for success. Looks good…tastes good…what more could you want!

Lamington Tiramisu

Ah…now it’s time for the Tim Tams and Milo.  Both are an Aussie favourite, so why not combine the two!  That’s exactly what Love Swah did with these tempting Tim Tam and Milo truffles.  I think you will agree that they sound pretty awesome, and you will be pleased to hear that the recipe is easy to follow.

Tim Tam and Milo Truffles

Ok, moving on now to Tim Tam Fudge by ThermoFun.  I know you don’t need any more excuses to eat Tim Tam’s, but if you were really hunting for one…here it is!  You might have to make a double batch though as I doubt they would last for long!

This ice cream Milo cake by The Sugar Hit seriously had me drooling.  I love Milo….I love ice cream….I love dessert. This is absolutely nothing that goes against this cake, except the calories of course.  But hey, who cares about that when things taste soooo good!

It would be absolutely impossible to leave out Anzac biscuits in our line up.  I found a delicious recipe by Butter Baking so you no longer have an excuse not to make them.  I’m sure you will agree, Anzac biscuits are a must to be had on Australia Day.

Have you enjoyed this selection of Australia Day desserts?  Are you drooling right now?

I was certainly drooling over the computer when I was putting this round up together.  Far too many goodies all in once place!
