A Giggle and Hoot party is a fun and vibrant theme for young children. I am delighted to share this party submitted by Gemma for her son’s first birthday party. This party is easy to recreate with a few simple decorations to highlight the theme.

- A roaring dinosaur party is another awesome theme for a boys 1st birthday.
- If the boys love their cars, then a racing car party would be perfect for them.
Gemma said about planning the party – “Ali is mesmerized by Giggle and Hoot. He just loves them and their songs, so the theme for his party was easy. I did lots of research on Hoot. The things that stood out to me were the cardboard, buttons, stitching, purple button tree and giggle mobile. I love being creative and had a blast putting together all the decorations for his party”.
Giggle and Hoot Party Invitations:
The invitations were hand made, and true to the Giggle and Hoot theme. It goes to show that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to create a really special look.
Giggle and Hoot Party Decorations:
The decorations are really what brought this party to life.
Gemma said “Cardboard was used as the base to make all the decorations. I drew the pictures by hand and used a Stanley knife to cut them out. Acrylic paint, wool, glue, glitter and ribbon were all used to add texture and dimension”.
The party favors were giant bubbles, with a Giggle and Hoot label. This is something that is easy to do and the kids will love.
Giggle and Hoot Party Activities:
This party had kid’s of several ages in attendance, and they were catered for perfectly with the activities on offer.
A bouncy castle, a ball pit and their own mini cars, ensured that all the kids enjoyed themselves.
Party Food and Drinks:
The birthday cake always provides the main feature on any food table and this cake from the Cake Cafe was no exception.
The result was a very happy one year old and a very successful party.
