Start the party, and get those car engines revved! I am delighted to share this racing car party which was submitted by Jacqui of The Iced Biscuit. I’m sure this would be a little boy’s dream party, full of energy and fun.
I absolutely love the incorporation of the red hot car throughout the food and the decor. The classic black and white check flags look amazing as a backdrop but are also followed through in some of the food items and the printables. The party table flows effortlessly, whilst is buzzing with activity.
Jacqui said about the party planning “This Little Red Racing Car Party was for my son’s Max’s 3rd birthday. While we are privileged to have a superb location to throw parties, the weather was not kind so much effort went into making the outdoor party completely water proof.
After working up an appetite on the race track and in the Jumping Castle, the children sat down to a lunch of home-made sausage rolls, finger sandwiches and mini hot dogs before descending on the desert table. (Followed closely by their parents!)
The table was laden with goodies and whilst I made most of it, I had a bit of help from some very talented ladies. I made the two tier chocolate mud cake, but had help with the cake bunting and the little red car toppers.
My specialty is decorated sugar cookies which I made in 3 different designs with different finishes. I also made coconut ice, red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese frosting, chocolate coated oreos, chocolate spoons, jelly pots, vanilla bean panna cotta and white chocolate and raspberry mousse.
Some other very talented ladies helped make the delicious rose water mini meringues, vanilla macarons and the salted caramel cake pops”.

I found you through the linkup and I love these details! The colors are my favorite too. Last year I almost did an aqua & red cherry party for my daughter’s first, always thought that was a cute theme. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for popping over Esther 🙂 Bold colours are always wonderful at a party, and I’m sure an aqua and red cherry party would have been gorgeous. What did you decide to do in the end?
