It’s not always an easy task finding a Father’s Day gift from the little kids. The kids are excited to give gifts, but that doesn’t mean that they have to be expensive ones.
In fact, it’s the handmade gifts that the kids get excited about more than the store bought ones.
It makes sense really because a handmade gift is one that is full of love. It has effort and thought put into it.
We have a rule in our house that Father’s Day and Mother’s Day gifts have to cost under $10. We don’t wan’t our kids to be spending all their pocket money on gifts for us, and we also don’t want to set a precedent that only expensive gift’s are worthwhile ones.
So far our kids have managed to find great gifts for under $10 just fine, and everyone has been excited with the results.
Plus, there are the accompanying handmade gifts like this Father’s Day Certificate.
I created these certificates for Father’s Day several years ago when my daughter was a toddler. (Note this post has been updated for you!).
At the time, my daughter (who is now 7) had great delight in choosing which Father’s Day certificate she was going to complete, and then adding her personal touch.
She may have only been a toddler, but she sat and completed her certificate with great delight. She was also super excited to present her work to dad on Father’s Day.
As for dad? Well he was thrilled with his certificate. I mean, what dad doesn’t like to be told how awesome he is.
Choice of Two Father’s Day Award Certificate Designs
There are two Father’s Day certificate designs for you to choose from and both are available for FREE from the free printable library.
Simply choose which one you would like to complete and print it.
Do you have more than one child? Well I’m sure dad wouldn’t mind receiving two or more certificates!
One of the designs says “World’s Best Dad”, whilst the other says “Champion Dad”. Let the kids choose which one they think dad would prefer.
My daughter certainly knew her own mind and when presented with both the certificates. She was very adamant which one she wanted to give to daddy.
She choose the “worlds best dad” and had a ball adding her creative flair to the certificate.
There are spaces left blank for you to fill in who the certificate is for, the date and who it is presented by. The kids can then continue to add their artistic flare to the rest of the certificate as they wish. In my daughter’s case, this was over the entire certificate!
