Every October, the Cancer Council in Australia raises awareness for breast and gynecological cancers. Many women get together and hold a girls night in, raising funds for this wonderful cause. Whether it’s a small intimate affair with close friends, or as part of a business or social club, it is a great way for girls to get together, have a great night and raise some much needed money! The breast cancer ribbon is a powerful recognizable symbol and many people wear pink ribbons to honour survivors, remember loved ones and support fundraising.
This stunning breast cancer ribbon party was submitted by Natasha of Fete Fanatic. It features the custom breast cancer pink ribbon all over the dessert table, and the food is beautifully presented in shades of pink. The styling is outstanding and would be perfect for an evening of pampering and indulgence. Natasha said about the party planning: “I was invited to create a dessert table for a local business owner who was hosting a spa party for Breast Cancer Awareness month. Guests were treated to comfy plush slippers, spa products and massages. The sweet treats included red velvet and vanilla cake pops, chocolate covered oreos, dipped pretzels rods, coconut raspberry marshmallows, cherry tootsie rolls and Hershey kisses. I was thrilled to be in the company of such beauty and strength”.
The breast cancer ribbon decorations leave no doubt to what this party is being held for. They are beautifully displayed and I love the two tone of pink. They add a special touch of class to this dessert table.
The pink ribbons feature everywhere in the desserts and are very subtle in their placement. I love how they have been included in chocolate coating, and even individual chocolate pink ribbons!

That is a beautiful party for such a special cause. My grandma had breast cancer so it’s a cause near to my heart.

Absolutely Cheryl, it is lovely to be able to raise some much needed money in such a beautiful way. Unfortunately it seems most of us know someone who has or had breast cancer, so the more awareness that can be raised the better! Thanks so much for your comment 🙂
