One of the most exciting times at Christmas is decorating the Christmas tree. It’s a chance for the whole family to come together and join in an activity that will then be enjoyed for the whole season.
I have such fond memories of decorating the tree, but I also recall having to sit and wait for dad to put all the lights on before we could start the decorating.
We always had a real Christmas tree so it wasn’t something that could be done ahead of time. This process used to feel like forever, but I’m sure in reality it was only half an hour or so.
Despite having to wait for the lights to go on, having these memories is so special to me and I really want my kids to have them too.
