A teddy bear birthday party is a classic theme for any gender. There is nothing quite like a bunch of delightful teddy bears to give you those warm fuzzy feelings. A party full of teddy bears is surely going to delight both the young and the old.
Today I can delight you with this teddy bear party submitted by Patricia of Sweet Par-t. It features some sensational styling and desserts, leaving no question that this was an incredibly special occasion.
Patricia said about the party planning: “A birthday party was being planned for twins first birthday. The mother had used two adorable striped teddy bears during many photographs in their first year and therefore decided to hold a teddy bear birthday party. The mother decided to use 2 colors and stripes. Navy blue and white were chosen to start with, along with lots of bears of all shapes and sizes!”.
Teddy Bear Birthday Party Decoration:
I absolutely adore the styling of this teddy bear birthday party. Whilst the main colour is blue, a woodland feel is still incredibly evident. The combination of the grasses, wooden tables and stunning orchids all help you feel like this party table would be found in the woods. The party display gives a feeling of relaxation and calm which is perfect for a child’s birthday.
Patricia said “The colours blue and white were used throughout the decoration, teamed with stripes and polka dots to add an interesting look to the composition. Two large teddies, wearing a monogram t-shirts, were placed into the sides of the table and personalized monogram cups helped to embellish the view.
Exquisite blue orchids provided the final touch of glamour to the back of the cakes where a fabric panel was covering the window. The fabric panel was framed by 2 bouquets of balloons. Teddy bears hung from the ceiling and brought the magic of this decoration all together”.
Teddy Bear Birthday Party Food:
There is not much to say about the food other than it looks absolutely mouth watering. I know that I would seriously struggle with deciding which dessert to have, so maybe trying one of each would be in order!
Patricia said “A large variety of sweets was served. The famous Brazilian truffle, known as “brigadeiros”, was prepared in seven different flavors. Blueberry tarts, rice krispies in a teddy bear shape, chocolate lollipops, cake pops and “pao de mel” (a Brazilian honey cake filled with dulce de leche) all helped to add some really interesting flavor to the decoration. Two fake cakes were used to give some balance to the table, and after singing Happy Birthday, a cold coconut cake was served”.
This classic theme can easily be incorporated into a birthday, christening or baby shower and is a theme that all the guests will enjoy.
Has this teddy bear birthday party given you some inspiration for your own teddy bear affair?
