Do you have a airplane fan in the house? If so then an airplane birthday party could be just the theme for you.
It’s a fun theme, but not one that you see often, so the kids are going to love the uniqueness of it.
An airplane party is also so easy to decorate for. Create an easy party backdrop with blue and white tablecloth’s, finished off with some fluffy clouds made with cotton bud’s and you are done.

Airplane Water Bottle Labels
Every single party I hold has personalized water bottles. The kids love them, and I love how they easily bring the theme together.
The labels are available in two super cute designs, with the text “JET FUEL”. Each design is also available with a blank cloud in the middle to enable you to write in children’s name’s if you wish.
These labels are sized 7.5 x 23 cm (approx 3″ x 9″). To add to the water bottles, peel off the existing label, print these onto matte photo paper and attach with some double sided tape.
Airplane Cupcake Toppers
Cupcake toppers are pretty awesome don’t you think? They can be used in so many different ways, from one simple little cut out.
Need some ideas? Sure!
- Use as party circles for decoration on party ware such as dishes, glasses or stands.
- Use as party favor tags on favor bags or tied to little gifts.
- Pops of mini decor around the party setting.
To simply use them as cupcake toppers however, just add them onto cake pop sticks and attach at the back with a little tape. Then add them on as many food items as you like.
Each cupcake topper is sized 5 cm diameter (approx 2″). Print them onto matte photo paper, and attach with a small piece of tape to a cake pop stick.
Airplane Food Tent Labels
Food labels are awesome to use at parties for a couple of reasons.
- They help with a little bit of fun by creating some special names for the food relating to the theme. For instance one label could simply say “In Flight Snacks”. To specifically name food, you can be as creative as you like. Try “Candy Clouds” for fairy floss or “Baggage Claim” for square cut sandwiches. How about “Engine Parts” for lollies or “Propeller Pops” made into marshmallow pops. You are limited only by your imagination.
- For kids with dietary requirements, this is the perfect way to separate the food whilst still having fun with the themed decor. It’s easy to label the foods according to any requirements needed to ensure that all the little guests enjoy the party, without eating something they shouldn’t.
Each label is sized 10 x 5 cm when folded (Approx 4″ x 2″). It is easy to print off the labels and write in the descriptions immediately, or if you are a last minute kind of mom, then write the descriptions as you set up the party. Sometimes that is when the best inspiration comes!
Airplane Candy Bar Wrappers
Another item that is always an absolute must at my parties are candy bar’s with themed wrappers. They are perfect for having on the food table, but also giving out to kids as party favors when they leave.
Two designs are available to make this even easier for you.
Each wrapper is designed to fit a standard size Hershey bar, which is sized 13.5 cm x 13 cm (Approx 5.3″ x 5″).

Birthday invitations help set the scene of a party. They tell your guests not only what the theme of the party will be, but also will give them a glimpse of what the party will look like.
