Wow, I absolutely adore this Mother’s day brunch submitted by Natalie of Little Miss Party Planner.
Mother’s day is a special day to foster connections, and this mother’s day brunch certainly ticks all the box’s for a special time together.
Absolutely everything was thought of in preparing for this brunch. Highlights include:
- A Stunning tablescape to sit at and relax
- A diverse range of food items for everyone to enjoy
- Comfort provided with cosy seating arrangements
- Flower bar for the kids to create something special for mom
Natalie expressed the following about the brunch she organised:
“To the world you are a mother, but to our family you are the world”
This was exactly what we wanted to celebrate at this gorgeous Mother’s Day Brunch that I had the honor of hosting. I wanted it to be intimate, stylish and all around a good time with some of my closest friends and their little ones.
Our inspiration came from flowers and color, flower gardens to be exact. When choosing a location, I wanted it to be a beautiful scene with old structures. I designed the brunch around this beautiful cottage that our friends over at Hines Hill Conservancy were more than happy to lend us for the day.
The tiny little guests wore pretty spring dresses, flower crowns and the little gentleman wore fun colors such as pink, with button downs and of course suspenders!
The little guests took Polaroid snaps of each other in the outdoor living room and we used them as place cards, pinned to flowers in tiny vases that sat on each beautiful 1940’s vintage plates. Besides the beautiful tablescape with a gorgeous centerpiece with delicate flowers, including some of my favorites, Rose Juliet and Ranunculus, I really wanted to make sure that all my girlfriends truly felt appreciated and loved”
Delicious Mother’s Day Brunch Menu
There was certainly not a shortage of food at this brunch, with delights for the mom’s as well as the kids.
The desserts look immaculate and set up in a stunning tablescape, all the mom’s would definitely have felt spoilt.
Natalie said:
“There was an array of brunch appropriate food, such as gourmet pastry beignets, danish and cinnamon rolls. Caprese Skewers, and asparagus quiche, and pear with gorgonzola mousse topped with gingersnap.
Let’s not forget the beautiful desserts that were arranged atop a french provincial dresser. The sweets that we included were macaroons, Cookies, RKT, Chocolate covered oreos, cake and of course my favorite, rose shaped cake pops!
Flower Bar For The Kids To Give To The Moms
An impressive flower bar was set up for added interaction between the kids and their mom’s.
I love how all these details combined ensure a truly special and memorable event for everyone involved.
Natalie said:
“Again, I really wanted this to be all about the moms and their little ones, so I created a Flower Bar that Included many different types of flowers; such as garden roses, tulips, and dusty miller”.
The kids got to pick from the flower bar and head on over to the craft table that had kraft paper, ribbon, and tiny scissors for them to make their mamas a mother’s day bouquet, while mamas sipped on mimosa and enjoyed each others company.
My favorite part was seeing their children hand them a handmade bouquet that put happy tears in mothers faces.
The brunch was a wonderful afternoon spent celebrating motherhood and creating memories with an amazing group of ladies and their little ones. So much detail went into styling and hosting this brunch. It was a beautiful day spent with other mothers and truly enjoying the day with our family and friends.”
If the intention is to spoil mom, then this mother’s day brunch certainly does that. Thank you Natalie for sharing this truly magical event with us.
