Kids love little surprises don’t they. It’s amazing how the little things that happen in their day to day life bring the greatest joy and excitement.
Halloween lunch box notes are the perfect example of this.
They are simple and easy for us moms to do, but the joy that they bring a child is awesome.
The delight as they open up their lunch box and see a little note staring at them, is one of those times that you want to capture on camera.
We can only imagine the look on their face. If only we could be a fly on the wall!
Whilst we can’t be with the kids at school when they find their Halloween lunch box note, we can hear all about their discovery when we come to pick them up at the end of the day.
The excitement in their voice whilst telling you about their little find, is enough to picture what their face must have looked like at the time.
There is no perfect time to add lunch box notes. They can be added all the way through the year to brighten up a child’s day. It’s these types of simple and easy gestures that actually go a long way with the kids.
However at holiday times, it just feels like the perfect excuse to do something a little bit extra special.
I have designed four Halloween lunch box notes that you can add to your child’s bag this holiday season.
What’s even better is that these free Halloween printable’s can be downloaded immediately and you can start to use them right away.
Whether you actually put it in their lunch box, or just their school/kindy bag, is completely up to you, but just make sure it is somewhere that they are going to find it easily.
Create The Halloween Lunch Box For The Whole Family
Psst….Halloween lunch box notes don’t just have to be for the little kids!
Whilst I have designed these for kids, there are NO RULES to say that they HAVE to be for kids!
Would your boyfriend or husband also have a good giggle with one of these?
Then why not create a Halloween lunch box for him too. You could always write a special little note for him on the back, to let him know you are thinking of him (if that was not already obvious by the note).
I’m sure it would create a few laughs in his workplace. Men are big kids after all.
And it would provide a good story to listen to when he get’s home from work!
How To Print The Lunch Notes
Step 1: The first thing you need to do, is download the free Halloween printable’s from our white card stock. You will find them under the Halloween printable’s section.
Step 2: Print the Halloween lunch box notes onto either white card stock or matte photo paper. I personally love the finished look of the photo paper, but card stock is just as good if that is all you have to hand.
Step 3: Cut out the Halloween lunch box notes and cut them out individually.
Step 4: Add them to your child’s lunch box.
If you have multiple children, you could provide them with a different Halloween lunch box note each, or if you have only one, why not give them a new one each day leading up to Halloween.
Come Halloween the kids could have quite a little collection. If your kids love their jokes, you might want to print out some Halloween jokes to also add to their lunch box. It would create a double laugh for them.
So if you are looking for a little bit of extra added fun this holiday season, these Halloween lunch box notes could be just what you need.
