This gorgeous Hello Kitty theme party was submitted by the incredibly talented Jennifer from Events at Pink Elephants and Lemonade.  Jennifer created this wonderland for her 7 year old daughter’s birthday.
It contained beautiful pink and white tones which Hello Kitty is known for.  A stunning dessert buffet was provided and the children were entertained with a selection of exciting activities.
It is no surprising that there were smiles all round!

Jennifer said about the party planning “When deciding on my daughter’s 7th birthday theme, Hello Kitty immediately came to mind.  Julia loves all things Hello Kitty!
We made the invitations together, which was a lot of fun, and I was able to get some Hello Kitty party decorations from a big party store back home in Canada.   I made the coordinating fabric bunting, which is available at my Etsy store“.

Hello Kitty Theme Party Decoration:

Jennifer makes her own stunning bunting, and this teamed with some balloons, streamers and lanterns created a truly beautiful setting.  The colour palette of whites and pink looked truly gorgeous.

Hello Kitty Theme Party Food:

The desserts chosen for this party are simply delightful.  A simple yet delicious spread which looks amazing without going over the top.  I love how all the desserts fit into the colour scheme for the party. The entire table has such a whimsical feel to it.

Jennifer said “We wanted to have a pink sweets table and to be honest, most of my party prep time went into finding the perfect pink sweets and treats!  In the end we had fabulous pink cupcakes, marshmallows, meringues, and an assortment or pink candy.  My favourites were the Hello Kitty cookies that Smooches provided”.

Hello Kitty Theme Party Activities & Favors:

A party wouldn’t be complete without some activities and there was no shortage of these at the party.

Jennifer said “When the party guests arrived they were given sheets of paper with a Hello Kitty bookmark template.  The guests coloured them in and we laminated them.  The girls took these home as part of their party favours.

My husband created and painted a game board for the party, we called it Pin the Bow on the Hello Kitty.  This was a huge success!  All of the guests were blindfolded and the guest who got the bow closest to the painted bow on the board won a Hello Kitty paint canvas as a prize.

The kids also played a few games in the garden and we finished off the party with a piñata, and who doesn’t love a piñata!?

The party favours were Hello Kitty pencils, notebooks and a barrette”.
