I am delighted to share with you this gorgeous raindrop baby shower submitted by Justine at Pretty Little Vintage.
Regardless of how you choose to hold your baby shower, there is something always special about them.
It is the opportunity to celebrate the impending birth of a magical little baby, but also a time for the mother to be to have some quality time with her girl friends, relax and be spoilt.
This shower is nothing short of delightful. Every little detail has been put together beautifully and I’m sure you will agree that it is the perfect way to celebrate and welcome a little one.
Justine said about the party planning: “I’ve always had to work with lots of pinks and girly themes so I was very excited to put this baby boy shower together. This ‘showered from above’ themed party featured a dreamy baby cot dessert buffet with pom pom clouds and raindrops dropping from above. As all babies are a blessing from above we wanted this shower to reflect how special this time really is for the mom to be.
The party also featured a “Keep Calm & Enjoy your baby shower” drink station with a gorgeous lemonade dispenser and personalised water bottles with ‘nutrition facts’ about the little man to be. Everyone went home with a lolly bag filled with sweets and candy from the cot dessert buffet as well as a special baby bootie-ribboned goodie bag as a thank you gift from the mum to be.”
Raindrop Baby Shower Decoration:
Walking into this baby shower you are instantly showered with an element of calm. The decorations are so breezy, you could even imagine it to be the perfect place for a little one to sleep. If you wanted to relax for the afternoon, then this party has all the elements.
I love how the baby has even made an appearance. What a lovely touch having the scan photo for all to see. This is such a beautiful way to tie everything together.
Party Food:
I love the selection of food at this party, but most of all I love how it has been displayed. The cot is just the perfect setting to show off all these adorable delights, and it is something many people wouldn’t think of. Not now tho, as the idea is out the bag. I think this is going to be used a lot from now on, as it’s just too cute to resist!
The line up of food is exactly how a baby shower should be. Adorned with treats!
Justine said “It was an intimate party for closest friends so the cot made the perfect size as a dessert buffet table to display an array of gorgeous sweets such as almond & coconut flavoured ‘rattle’ cake pops, baby themed butter cookies, mini cupcakes, almond meringue, almond candy, Lindt chocolate bars and a delicious 4 layer blue ombre cake”
I would like to say a huge thank you to Justine for sharing this beautiful baby shower with us today.
