I love summer salads. Salad’s are anything but boring, the amount of different combinations to make are endless. I love it when they are fruit in nature, the fruit seems to give it that extra kick, or that extra feeling of refreshing summer that just simply sends those happy vibes.
This summer salads round up today has all been gathered from our Marvelous Monday link party, and I absolutely love all the contrast in flavors.
Still think salads are boring? Take a look at these delicious fruity containing summer salads and then let me know what you think!
8 Summer Salads You Will Love
I always love the refreshing salads that come of of Simply Suzanne’s At Home kitchen and this Green apple salad with butter lettuce is no exception. It looks so incredibly light yet full of flavor.
I am a bit of a fan of beetroot and goats cheese, they are the perfect pairing. I love this Beet apple and goat’s cheese salad by Memories by the mile. Not only does the beet bring the total zing to the salad, but the addition of the apple completes the freshness. Totally delicious!
I definitely don’t use quinoa enough in my meals, so this Cherry quinoa summer salad by Treat Yourself Sweeter instantly caught my eye. It’s something so different to the ‘normal’ salads that you would expect, so it’s the perfect dish for wanting that refreshing summer salad, but wanting to opt away from the lettuce!
Not only do I love the pop of colour that these strawberries give this salad, but it just makes it feel extra summery don’t you think? For a delicious salad with an equally delicious dressing you have to check out this Strawberry caprese salad with balsamic vinaigrette by My Life Cookbook.
One of the juiciest fruits you can add to a salad has to be of the orange variety. Loving this Mandarin Orange Chicken Salad by Frugal in Florida, it’s simple summer freshness on a plate.
Of course the other juciy fruit for a salad has to be the mango! I’d eat mango on every salad if I could, so it’s not surprising that this Mango pecan salad with orange by So Much To Make took my fancy. The mango and the bacon together?? Well, your in heaven really arn’t you!
The Kitchen Chopper always have amazing salads and this Patriotic fruity chopped is no exception. This salad really is a combination of all things awesome….the fruit…the quinoa…the goats cheese. It seriously spells yum!
Finally, I would like to share this Minty Orzo and grape salad by With A Blast. It’s not the kind of salad that I would normally think of making and that’s exactly why it hit this list!
