  • Awesome Birthday Beer Label Design For A Gift He Will Love

It really doesn’t seem that long ago that I was celebrating my 21st, and now here I am going to all my friend’s 40th birthday celebrations.

When and how did this happen?

They say that 40 is the new 30, although I’m not sure if that is just to make us feel better about being middle aged.  Gee’s, that’s not a term we want to throw around too often is it!

My daughter often asks “what was it like in the olden days”. To her, it wouldn’t matter if I was turning 20 or turning 40, I’d still be ancient in her eyes!

But, as we all know, it’s not about the number that you are, it’s about how you feel inside. And besides, there is nothing wrong with turning 40. Isn’t that when life really starts?

Whether turning 40 is an exciting prospect of a daunting one, you might as well celebrate it in style. After all, there is nothing that can be done about getting older, so it might as well be embraced.

And what better way to celebrate a 40th birthday than to have it literally thrown in your face!

40th birthday beer and wine labels

When I started to design these beer and wine labels, I was initially thinking of 40th birthday presents for men. There is however nothing to say that they can’t be enjoyed by women too.

I designed them in  chalk board style which would definitely appeal to the guys though. The chalk board style is still very popular, so it seemed like a great style to work with.

Perfect beer labels for a 40th birthday

It doesn’t matter what party you go to, there are ALWAYS men that drink beer.

Even if you don’t want to decorate for a party, this is a great way to subtly remind everyone what the celebrations are for.

It would also be a great talking point with all the guys drinking from their 40th beer bottles.

Chalkboard 40th Beer Labels

There are 6 beer label designs in total and it would be really fun to have them on display at a party.

Printable beer labels make perfect 40th birthday presents

Perhaps you have no intention of having a party for a 40th birthday, or printing off the labels seems like too much work. If this is the case, then they would be perfectly saved to give as a 40th birthday gift.

It’s easy, it’s cheap and most of all it would be 100% appreciated.

It can be hard thinking of a gift that will be meaningful, loved and budget friendly, but this is TOTALLY it.

The perfect 40th birthday present can be achieved in five easy steps.

Step 1: Choose his favorite six pack of beer.

Step 2: Download the 40th birthday beer labels

Step 3: Print onto matte photo paper

Step 4: Cut out each label individually.

Step 5: Remove the existing label and attach the new label with double sided sticky tape.

That’s it, your totally done!

If you are unsure about how to put the labels onto the bottles, then you can follow my easy tutorial here.

If you really want to go the extra mile, you could create a gift hamper and maybe add some nuts or chocolate. But however you decide to present the beer to him, the result will be the same.

It will be a total win!

40th birthday wine labels

To match the beer labels, I have also designed a set of two chalkboard wine labels.

If you wanted to use something at a party and didn’t want to attach too many labels to beer bottles, then the wine labels would be the perfect solution.

They would look amazing standing on a table, and would be great to lift the 40th birthday party styling.

40th Birthday Wine Labels

Likewise if you wanted to give as a gift instead, this would be a great way to give a personalized gift whilst also looking after your budget.

Choosing a favorite beer or wine and then attaching with these 40th birthday labels would create a few laughs I’m sure.

I know that my hubby loves seeing what new beer labels he is being given next, although it’s not much of a surprise now as he almost expects them from me!

You can obtain both the beer and the wine labels in our Etsy shop.

Now you can stop stressing about the perfect 40th birthday present because this will be the perfect option for you!

The question is, are you going to choose the beer, the wine or both?

The wine label made me laugh! Aged 40 years… Iol. Maybe this will work for my… 30th… coming up in 2 years. I have been dreading it yet welcoming it at the same time. Where did my twenties go?! Pinning and sharing. Thanks for sharing this at Totally Terrific Tuesday last week! I can’t wait to see what you have to share this week!

No need to dread it Sharon….30’s are particularly awesome 🙂 40…I am not quite there yet, but I have heard they are good to…or that may be just what people want to say…lol. Time goes very quickly doesn’t it!

Who cares what age you are, as long as you can enjoy yourself 🙂 Making up some beer and wine labels for a 30th is actually next on my list 🙂

Absolutely love the labels! Do you have any suggestions on how to print and place them on bottles?
    Thanks!

Thanks 🙂 You can either print directly onto full sheet stickers and simply cut out the labels and attach, OR you can print onto matte photo paper and attach with double sided sticky tape. Both methods work great, so it really depends what material you feel more comfortable using.
