Little Ladybug Birthday Party

This ladybug birthday party was submitted by Jennifer of Events by Pink Elephants & Lemonade.  This is a wonderful theme to work with and Jennifer did a fantastic job.  I love Jennifer’s incorporation of the garden onto the styling the food table, it’s absolutely beautiful.

Ladybug Birthday Party

Jennifer said about the party planning: “In May 2014 we had a Ladybug party for my daughter’s 5th birthday.  I LOVE party preps and start months before the big day.  My daughter loves ladybugs and really wanted to have this theme for her party.

I made the invitations so that the wings would be movable.  My husband and I also painted the ladybug bean bag toss game and I made the matching bean bags. This party game was a big hit with the guests (7 little girls).

The party table was covered with green ‘grass’ and was adorned with lots of jars of red sweets.  We also made ladybug snacks, mini tomatoes and grapes.   The kids thought these were so fun!”

Ladybug Birthday Party Decoration:

Jennifer made most of the party decoration herself, including the bunting, tissue garlands, invitations and even the games.  I love how everything is perfectly coordinated, bold and striking.

Ladybug Birthday Party food:

A wonderful job was undertaken with the party food, and the addition of the tiny ladybugs everywhere is adorable.  Pretty much everything had a ladybug on it somewhere.  I especially love the cupcakes, which look so delicate with the beautiful grass and flowers.

Ladybug Birthday Party Activities:

Jennifer always includes wonderful activities at her parties, and she lived up to that reputation once again.  The bean bag toss is a great idea and one that the kids could have a lot of fun with.  The ladybug bean bags are totally gorgeous, perfect for use in both the party decoration and the game.

A ladybug party is an enjoyable theme for little ones of all ages.   There is so much that you can do with red, black and polka dots, and you are literally just limited by your own imagination.  Include some fun games into the mix and your party is ready to delight.
