This is adorable! My daughter had a monster themed 4th birthday last October and I did something similar — printed googly eyes and glued them on solid colored cone hats. The kids went CRAZY for them. Only problem was I needed 22 for her class party and cutting out all those eyes took forever (my hand was literally cramping by hat number 15 lol). For the classroom batch I ended up getting GINYOU cone hats since they are CPSIA certified — felt better knowing they passed safety testing with that many little ones grabbing at everything. But for the backyard party with just 8 kids the DIY version was perfect and so much fun to make. Love your printable designs, those eye variations are way cuter than what I drew freehand!

Over mixing banana bread will affect the texture. Only mix by hand and just until ingredients are combined. I did not know this and tried several recipes and got chewy results each time until I found a recipe that told me to only hand mix and that was the difference.

I’m making these for my grandson’s 3rd birthday. He’s going to love them. Thank you for the idea and the instructions. In my baking class I learned that you can make fondant glue by mixing a small piece of fondant with water to make a runny paste. One less supply you have to buy.

I love these ideas so much! When I originally agreed to host a party for Labor Day, I was optimistic and didn’t realize how much work it might be. Having the party be outside, where I won’t need to worry about meticulously cleaning every inch of my house, will make life so much easier and I can’t believe I didn’t think about it earlier. Fortunately, we have lots of shady trees, so we don’t need to worry about putting up a tent or anything, but I absolutely love the look of those fresh flowers. Thanks so much for sharing and for the inspiration!

I am just running across this post while searching for ideas for different gatherings as my three daughters are beginning to have littles of their own. I am Grancy now (my creation for Fancy Grandma). My daughters have always said I am “extra” and I love this new to me idea of fairy bread. My grands will be seeing this someday!
