For those of you living outside America, you may not have head of Dylan’s Candy Bar. However, this spa themed birthday party submission by Courtney of Glamour Avenue Parties, showcased not only a wonderful spa party, but also the delights of Dylan’s Candy Bar.
It is no surprise that a young girl would have asked for this theme party. Dylan’s candy bar’s trade bright colours just draws you in, and we have all heard the phrase “like a kid in a candy store!!”.
Team candy with some pampering and you have a winning girls party!! This party has FUN written all over it!
Courtney said about the party planning: “I was contacted by my client, for her her daughter’s 10th Birthday and she said her daughter wanted a colorful Dylan’s Candy Bar inspired spa party. I was thrilled to oblige as there are so many creative directions you can go with a fun theme like this! My client’s adamant design request was to make sure it was colorful and the rest was up to me!”.
With Dylan’s Candy Bar trade vibrant colours setting the tone of this party, Courtney aimed to team vibrancy with relaxing, and she did that perfectly!
The spa themed birthday party was an absolute hit, with Courtney setting up a pamper station for each of the girls as well as a makeup station.
This party was as much about the pampering as it was about the candy. I love the subtle placing of candy as table decorations and it really emphasized all the party features.
Spa Party Decoration:
The party decoration was absolutely gorgeous. Courtney brought sophistication and style to a bright and bubbly colour scheme and it worked a treat.
Courtney said “I knew I wanted to keep the party colorful and sophisticated. I used fresh, white tablecloths and chairs, with vibrant chevron place mats to showcase the color. The place settings included the supplies for the facial application activity and sweets. Each girl also had a plastic beverage container with Dylan’s Candy Bar inspired tags. I kept the centerpiece simple and easy by using chocolate dipped marshmallows complete with pretty labels.
To follow through the Dylan’s Candy Bar theme, I used candy dots and swirly lollipops at the main table, which also doubled as the facial station. I also used colorful gumballs at the make up station, which looked gorgeous against the pool backdrop. The entire party made me long for the lazy days of summer and poolside activities”.
Spa Themed Birthday Party Activities:
This party was absolutely jam packed with activities for the girls. Not only did the girls have their spa stations set up, but Courtney thought of all the tiny little details like having magazines on the chairs. It’s almost like being at a real day spa, except this one is better because…….it’s full of candy!
Courtney said “The girls made gumball rings and necklaces, as well as having their nails painted, and make up application in bright candy colors.”
It’s always a nice idea for kids to be able to take something home at the end of a party, and this party gave the girls lots of treats!
The girls took home gumball rings and necklaces that they had made as well as a selection of candy from the candy bar.
