How To Make A Sensational Healthy Chocolate Mousse Recipe

Inside: A chocolate mousse recipe that will blow your mind.  It’s easy to make, tastes amazing and you can eat it guilt free.  This is the easiest dessert you could ever want.

I am obsessed with chocolate, I mean REALLY obsessed!  If I can get my hands on it, trust me I will, and I will fight you for it!  So it’s no surprise that I am obsessed with this simple chocolate mousse recipe.

Due to my complete obsession, if I ever have the chance to make my naughty chocolate treats that little bit healthier, I am on it!

I even surprised hubby with this one.  He is normally the one coming up with the healthy options as I gravitate to my ‘naughty cupboard of treats’.

Believe it or not, this chocolate mousse recipe is healthy.  It may not look it, but trust me, you can eat this mousse guilt free!Sensational Healthy Chocolate Mousse RecipeWhat could I possibly say about it.  It’s thick, creamy, and it’s oozing with chocolate deliciousness.  That has to be a pretty good start.

Garnish it with some strawberries or other fruit or choice, some shaved chocolate and the dessert is complete.  Of course I couldn’t be help do some drawing in the chocolate shavings on the plate either.

It is easy to decorate the strawberries into hearts, so the non-adventurous in the kitchen can make this treat look pretty special too.

It’s perfect for Valentines, because who doesn’t like chocolate to share with their loved ones!

What Makes This Chocolate Mousse So Amazingly Healthy?

Ok, so I did promise you that this chocolate mousse recipe was a healthy one, and I’m sure you are still wondering how.

Well, it is simply made with frozen bananas, chocolate protein powder and natural yogurt.  Not a bit of naughtiness in sight!

Natural yogurt has so many benefits to us that it’s great to use in desserts if possible.  Not only does natural yogurt have considerable nutritional value, but the probiotics found in it also provide considerable immune benefits, including increased production of antibodies to help fight disease.

So really, this has to be the best chocolate mousse recipe around.

Chocolate Banana Mousse

My hubby and I love baking with protein powder, especially as it contains the full compliment of trace minerals that your body needs.  It’s the perfect compliment to so many dishes.

Protein is absolutely essential to our bodies, and don’t you love how you you can have chocolate dessert and essential in the same sentence.

It is also the protein that makes us feel fuller, so by having this as an awesome dessert you are also filling yourself up so that you won’t be snacking all night long.

This chocolate mousse recipe is therefore healthy and incredibly delicious.  What more could you want.

This looks super interesting. I love chocolate mousse and have an incredible recipe that I got from my aunt, however it is ultra decadent and not very calorie-friendly. 🙂 Must give your recipe a try!

Oh I love decadent Marianne 🙂 It sounds surprising, but this mousse is actually incredibly chocolate rich, but not nasty on the waistline! It certainly doesn’t replace those super ozzing chocolaty mousse’s but it’s a good start, and one you can eat more often 🙂
