Fried Bananas Recipe

This absolutely yummy fried bananas recipe has been circulating Pinterest for a while now, so I thought I would give it a crack. Well they certainly didn’t disappoint, they were super yum, incredibly easy and a big cheer for being healthy!!!  Banana’s are a super food and great for eating as a healthy dessert.  Jazz them up a bit, and fry them with a touch of honey and cinnamon.  They are a delicious treat that you can eat as a guilt free dessert.  It’s an easy recipe and they can be whipped up in minutes!

So are you ready to get started?  You will need a banana, honey, cinnamon and olive oil.  Pretty easy right?!

Cook on each side for approximately 1 minute.

Fried Bananas Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 Banana
  • 1 Tablespoon of honey
  • Cinnamon
  • Olive oil
  • 1 Tablespoon of water

Instructions

Cut your banana into slices

Mix together the honey and water and set aside.

Add a drizzle of oil to the frying pan and add the banana. Cook on slow heat to obtain crispy rather than slushy bananas! Cook on each side for approximately 1 minute.

Once the bananas are cooked, remove from the heat and pour the mixture of honey and water over the bananas.

Allow the bananas to cool and sprinkle with cinnamon as desired.
