With Thanksgiving literally just around the corner, I thought I would devote today’s roundup to some delicious acorn Thanksgiving treats.
Acorn’s are the prefect representation of Fall, which makes them great to have at your Thanksgiving celebrations.
A couple of weeks ago I rounded up some super funky turkey cupcakes, so now it’s time for the acorns! Head on over to each of the blogs for their easy to follow recipe.
Enjoy, and let me know which one you are going to make!!
Let’s start of the week with these acorn brownie pops by Pint Sized Baker. Of course brownies are awesome, so combine that with the chocolate coating and the adorable looking acorn and you can’t go too far wrong. There is a great tip on how to keep those pop sticks looking white….head on over to find out how!
I love the Home Made Interest blog, so when I recently saw these acorn Oreo balls in our recent Marvelous Monday link party, I knew I had to feature them on this roundup. I mean really….Oreo cookie balls…how can you resist! They look amazing too, so they make the prefect Thanksgiving treat.
If you are a fan of donuts, then you will love these acorn donuts by Craftibilities. Incredibly easy to make and they look awesome, so they are definitely something to give a try. Make as many flavours and designs as you like. I bet the kids would be happy!
How do some chocolate chip cookies made to look like acorns sound? These cookies by Not A Trophy Wife are not only delicious, but are easy to replicate. You don’t need to be a professional cookie decorator to make these, yet I’m sure you would be happy with the finished result.
To finish off the week we have yet another easy to replicate recipe. Great arn’t they!! These acorn kisses by Curry and Comfort wouldn’t last long in my house. They are a combination of nutter butter cookies, Hershey’s kisses and more chocolate. What is not to like about these!
Will you be serving up any Thanksgiving treats that might resemble something along the lines of an acorn? Please share your ideas, I would love to hear what you are doing.
Please SHARE and PIN them so that other’s can enjoy these treats too.
Have an awesome Thanksgiving.
